У сусрет Дану европских аутора БДС представља Мирка Димића

Част нам је да и ове године, у оквиру Дана европских аутора, представимо чланове БДС-а који се баве књижевним стваралаштвом. Кроз прозу и поезију коју пишу показују посвећеност књизи, свестраност и креативност – особине својствене библиотекарима. У свеколики библиотечки свет уносе посебан дух који нас чини поносним, јер припадамо истој заједници – библиотечкој. Позивамо све, широм Европе да их упознају и на овај начин.

It is our honor to present this year, as part of the European Authors’ Day, the members of the Serbian Library Association who are engaged in literary creation. Through the prose and poetry they write, they demonstrate their dedication to books, versatility and creativity – qualities inherent in librarians. They bring a special spirit to the entire library world that makes us proud, because we belong to the same community – the library community. We invite everyone, across Europe, to get to know them in this way as well.

Мирко Димић

Основну школу и Карловачку гимназију завршио је у Сремским Карловцима, а мастер студије на Одсеку за компаративну књижевност Филозофског факултета у Новом Саду. Тренутно је на докторским студијама језика и књижевности на Филозофском факултету у Новом Саду и на мастер студијама на Одсеку за драматургију Академије уметности у Бањалуци.
Стручне и научне радове објављивао је у више часописа у земљи, региону и свету, највише се бавећи историјом уметности, ликовном критиком, поезијом и прозом. Објавио је две збирке песама и књигу кратких прича од којих је једна преведена на италијански језик.
Добитник је Прве награде на фестивалу поезије у Бишељеу (Италија, 2015) “Notte di poesia al Dolmen” за најбољу песму страног песника; Награде „Златна значка” (2017), коју додељује Културно-просветна заједница Србије, за међународни допринос културне сарадње Италије и Србије, а Културни центар „Карловачка уметничка радионица” уврштен је у званичну базу Европске туристичке заједнице као место које би требало посетити у Сремским Карловцима; Прве награде за поезију на Сајму књига у Корату (Италија, 2019); Друге награде за најбољу страну збирку песама у Ђовинацу (Италија, 2019); Награду „Павле Марковић Адамов” за књижевност и културни допринос Сремским Карловцима (2019). Добитник je Плакете почасног грађанина града Бишељеа (Италија, 2017).
Један је од оснивача и менаџер филмског фестивала у Сремским Карловцима „Карловци Филм Фестивал”. Дугогодишњи је сарадник Градске библиотеке у Новом Саду, где је радио као приређивач више зборника, књига и каталога. У одбору је за доделу Награде „Захарије Орфелин” за најлепшу књигу новосадског Сајма књига. Сарадник је Факултета за друштвене науке „Санта Софија” из Транија (Италија) на Смеру за славистику.
Директор је Галерије Културног центра „Карловачка уметничка радионица”, где је радио на организовању десетина изложби и других културно-уметничких програма у сарадњи са уметничким галеријама широм Европе.
Главни је и одговорни уредник часописа за науку културу и уметност Кровови. Један је од менаџера издавачке куће Secop Edizioni из Кората (Италија). Члан је редакције италијанског часописа за књижевност La Valissa. Члан је Друштва књижевника Србије и Библиотекарског друштва Србије. Запослен је у Библиотеци Матице српске. Живи у Сремским Карловцима.

Mirko Dimić

Mirko Dimić completed his elementary education and the Karlovci Gymnasium in Sremski Karlovci, followed by master’s studies in the Department of Comparative Literature at the Faculty of Philosophy in Novi Sad. He is currently pursuing doctoral studies in language and literature at the Faculty of Philosophy in Novi Sad, as well as master’s studies in the Department of Dramaturgy at the Academy of Arts in Banja Luka.
His professional and scholarly works have been published in numerous journals both domestically and internationally, with a particular focus on art history, visual criticism, poetry, and prose. He has authored two poetry collections and a book of short stories, one of which has been translated into Italian.
Dimić has received numerous accolades, including the First Prize at the Poetry Festival in Bisceglie (Italy, 2015) for the best poem by a foreign poet at „Notte di poesia al Dolmen“; the „Golden Badge“ Award (2017), conferred by the Cultural and Educational Community of Serbia, for his international contribution to the cultural cooperation between Italy and Serbia. Additionally, the Cultural Center „Karlovacka Artistic Workshop“ in Sremski Karlovci has been included in the official database of the European Tourist Community as a must-visit destination. He has also been awarded First Prizes for Poetry at the Book Fair in Corato (Italy, 2019); Second Prize for the best foreign poetry collection in Giovinazzo (Italy, 2019); and the „Pavle Marković Adamov“ Award for Literary and Cultural Contribution to Sremski Karlovci (2019). Furthermore, he is the recipient of the Honorary Citizen Plaque of Bisceglie (Italy, 2017).
A distinguished cultural figure, Dimić is one of the founders and the manager of the „Karlovci Film Festival“ in Sremski Karlovci. He has been a long-time collaborator with the City Library of Novi Sad, where he has worked as the editor of numerous anthologies, books, and catalogs. He serves on the committee for the „Zaharije Orfelin“ Award, which recognizes the most beautiful book at the Novi Sad Book Fair. Additionally, he collaborates with the Faculty of Social Sciences „Santa Sofia“ from Trani (Italy) in the Department of Slavic Studies.
Dimić is the director of the Gallery at the Cultural Center „Karlovacka Artistic Workshop,“ where he has played a central role in organizing dozens of exhibitions and other cultural and artistic programs in partnership with art galleries across Europe.
He is the chief editor of „Krovovi“, a journal dedicated to science, culture, and the arts. He is also one of the managers of „Secop Edizioni“, a publishing house based in Corato (Italy). Furthermore, he is a member of the editorial board of the Italian literary journal „La Valissa“. A member of both the Serbian Writers’ Association and the Library Society of Serbia, Dimić is employed at the Library of Matica Srpska. He resides in Sremski Karlovci.
